Travel to Berne for Euro 2008
Location: Berne, Switzerland
Get There by Air:
Berne Airport (Airport Code: BRN) is a small international international airport with a limited number of flight and destinations.
For more options, you may need to fly into Zürich Airport (Airport Code: ZRH) and take the 80 minute train to Berne.
Berne is the capital of Switzerland, despite being home to just 130,000 people. The historic Old City is surrounded by the River Aare (pictured) and worth a look (it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site) as is the Zeitglockenturm clocktower.
Euro 2008 Stadium: Stade de Suisse, Wankdorf
