The Ernst Happel Stadium is located in the center of the Prater, a huge Vienna recreation area near the Danube river. It’s about 20km from the airport, and can be reached via tram number 21 or bus numbers 83A and 84A.
The Ernst Happel is also accessible via the recently opened U2 undergournd line, just get out at the “Stadion” stop.
